But for the base price you do get a fair bit already, with the AMG Drivers Pack as standard – which gives you extra horses (500bhp) and a higher top speed (174mph) and a free day out at an AMG BASIC Training Power and Passion Event so you can learn to drive your new C63 properly. Icona reveals first render of Vulcano super sportscar

Icona will unveil a one-off super sports car dubbed Vulcano at next month's Shanghai auto show. The Vulcano was coachbuilt in Italy and was designed by the Shanghai-based Italian design house to show an evolution of its design language, first seen on the 2011 Icona Fuselage concept designed by Samuel Chuffart, Icona's design director. Icona says the design aims express the power within the hood while keeping the shapes harmonious.

The Citroen C-XR Concept (pictured) debuts in Beijing The Citroen DS 6WR was revealed last week as a new SUV heading for the Beijing Motor Show, but it turns out it’s not the only Citroen SUV making a debut in Beijing. The Citroen C-XR concept – a creation of the joint venture between Citroen and China’s Dongfeng – has also been revealed as a compact SUV / Crossover, and looks like the Citroen take on the Peugeot 2008. With styling that says more SUV than Crossover – added butch bits, wide chunky nose and a statement grill – the C-XR looks production-ready, and although Citroen has done what it can to make the C-XR look like a proper SUV it appears it won’t be getting 4WD.
