Description:
The Atlas 9KBP is a base-plate two-post lift designed for low ceiling garages.
The total column height of 111 ½" (9 feet 3 ½ inches) allows this lift to be
installed in almost any professional or home garage with a ceiling as low as
9 feet 6 inches.
Symmetric Columns and Arms:
The Atlas 9KBP includes a symmetric column configuration to offer the widest
possible Drive Thru. The Atlas 9KBP baseplate above ground lift has
symmetric arms to allow easy access to both sides of the vehicle. The Atlas
9KBP also includes two additional lifting pads that offer an infinite amount of
lifting points for the rear lift arms.
Chain-Over-Roller Cylinder Configuration:
The Atlas 9KBP has the chain-over-roller cylinder configuration.
There are two popular hydraulic cylinder configurations used in two post
electric/hydraulic above ground lifts:
Greg Smith Equipment sells above ground lifts that incorporate both the direct
drive cylinder configuration and the chain-over-roller cylinder configuration.
The base plate two post above ground lift implements the chain-over-roller configuration. This is the only hydraulic cylinder system that is possible in the base plate lift. The base plate two post above ground is designed for "low ceilings". The direct drive hydraulic cylinder configuration cannot be used in the base plate lift because the hydraulic cylinder would extend above the 9' 3" column when the lift arms were raised to the maximum height.
The "overhead" two post above ground lift may incorporate either the direct drive hydraulic cylinder or the chain-over-roller hydraulic cylinder.
Electrical Requirement:
The electric motor for the power unit requires 220 Volt (single phase) 60 Hz. We recommend using at least a 10 gauge (grounded) wire from the electrical panel. The power unit has a short pigtail (no plug) that can be wired to either a quick disconnect box (mounted on the lift column) or to a male/female plug combination. A 30 amp breaker is recommended.
Installation:
Most of our above ground lift customers install their own car lifts. The average time to install the Atlas 9KBP car lift is four hours. We provide detailed installation instructions with all of our two post above ground lifts and our four post above ground lifts.

Greg Smith Equipment stocks a complete inventory of lift parts for all the lifts we sell. The lift parts and the above ground lifts are stocked at both our Indianapolis and Delaware locations. Certain Competitors do not stock the lifts they advertise and do not stock any of the lift parts or accessories.

The Atlas 9KBP will be shipped by common carrier. It will arrive in an enclosed truck and the customer is responsible for unloading it with a forklift (or something similar to that). You will save money on shipping by having it delivered to a business address or trucking terminal. You can have it shipped to a residence, but please note that you will need to have the necessary equipment to unload it (a $30 additional charge will be added for residential delivery). If you do not have a business where we can ship it, another option is to have it shipped to a trucking terminal. At the terminal, the staff will be able to load the product on your trailer. The same shipping rates apply for business and terminal delivery. Applicable sales tax will be charged if shipped to an Indiana, Georgia, Arizona, Florida, or Texas address. The GT90 was unveiled at the 1995 Detroit auto show and acted as the poster boy of the 'New Edge' design philosophy, with its large, flat planes, angles and triangular shapes it was a major change in design direction. This car, completed in just six months, was something of a successor to the GT40, using some of its design cues such as doors that cut into the roofline, but underneath many components were borrowed from the other cars such as the Jaguar XJ220.

The new 2.0 and 2.2-litre diesels feature a third generation common rail system with piezo-electric injectors to deliver fuel at 1800-bar. Fitted with a particulate trap as standard, the 2.0-litre unit develops 181bhp and 289lb ft, while the bigger 2.2-litre unit pumps out 197bhp and 335lb ft of torque.
