Mazda6 Venture Edition Mazda has revealed the Mazda6 Venture Edition, a limited edition Mazda6 as a five door petrol or diesel and a diesel estate. Costs from £21,000. The current Mazda6 only has a limited shelf life with the Takeri Concept turning in to the new Mazda6 and due to arrive at the Paris Motor Show in September and go on sale early in 2013.

Based on a Chrysler Grand Voyager the Routan is over five metres long and will use the American car’s engines. In standard form the Routan will be powered by a 3.8-litre 194bhp V6, mated to a six speed automatic ‘box.

GM names Stracke to succeed Reilly as CEO of Opel/Vauxhall

General Motors on Thursday named global engineering chief Karl-Friedrich Stracke to replace Nick Reilly as CEO of its money-losing Opel/Vauxhall unit, effective April 1. Stracke will report to Reilly, 61, who continues as the head of GM's European operations and will be nominated to chair the Opel supervisory board. Stracke, a German native, has led GM's global vehicle engineering operations for the past 15 months.
