The Delta-Q IC650 Charger uses an innovative sealed die cast aluminum enclosure to provide the ultimate in reliability. Featuring a patented USB host port, the IC650 can easily download months of charge tracking data to a USB flash drive, which can also be programmed to update the charger software and QuiQ™ charging profiles. The IC650 is sold in 24, 36 and 48 volts of direct current (VDC) models.


Delta-Q has announced the introduction of the first sealed, IEC-compliant ac power cord. This new product provides sealing to an IP66 rating for the IEC60320 (formerly IEC320) C14 ac input connectors on Delta-Q IC650, QuiQ or QuiQ-dci industrial battery chargers. By preventing dirt, dust, water and other contaminants from entering the ac input fixture, charging safety and system durability are both increased. The sealed connection will prevent damage from fluids, dirt or acid corrosion, as well as maintaining a firm connection between the power cord and inlet.

Jaguar executive O'Driscoll to retire in March

Mike O'Driscoll, the managing director at Jaguar Cars, has announced his plan to retire at the end of March 2011. O'Driscoll, 54, moved to the United Kingdom to lead the company's brand after Ford announced its plan to sell Jaguar and Land Rover. While there, he managed the introduction of the XF, the XK, and the XJ.

Jaguar puts C-X75 supercar on ice

Jaguar has reversed its plan to sell the C-X75 hybrid supercar, fearing the project could be a commercial failure unable to recoup its investment. ‘After a thorough reassessment of the market conditions, the company’s view is that the global economic landscape does not currently support the introduction of a supercar such as C-X75,’ said Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar global brand director. Together with project partner Williams F1, Jaguar has built five prototypes of the plug-in hybrid.
