Peugeot 308 R Concept stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Peugeot’s hot new 308 R Concept hatchback has the new mk7 Volkswagen Golf GTI square in its sights here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The regular 308 hatch is also making its debut, showing quality Peugeot hope will rival the likes of Volkswagen and Audi, but with the rather racy looking 308 R, the French firm is after the performance crown, too. New British car company aims for bespoke market

A NEW BRITISH car company has been launched and the Alcraft Motor Company aims to offer bespoke designs based on existing models. The company says it will offer enhanced designs for Aston Martin, Jaguar and Land Rover models to begin with. Each design will be unique to the customer in a move that harks back to the days of coachbuilt cars of the 1920s.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato (2012): the production car

Aston Martin has today unveiled the new V12 Zagato in final, showroom spec. Previously, we'd seen the Zagato as a racer at the 2011 Villa d'Este concours and at the 24-hour Nurburgring race last summer. But this is what will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2012, costing a stout £330,000 plus local taxes.
