Here is an original 70-72 Monte Carlo left quarter panel, was taken off the lower areas by the spot welds for a correct install, not like those cheap repop things. The only rust it has is a small spot as shown in the last photo, very minor, especially compared to other Montes I have seen. I can cut it in half for shipping savings, or maybe just the lower areas, its up to you. Price on the panel is still the same. Shipping cost listed is for Greyhound Bus lines and will have to be picked up at the closest terminal near you, you need to let me know and I will need a phone number included. Thanks,Joe

WRC Mini Concept (2010) first official pictures

Thu, 30 Sep 2010

While the Mini Countryman might be destined for suburban mumsville, BMW has confirmed the new model will also terrorise the countryside in the form of the WRC Mini from 2011, with IRC champ Kris Meeke at the wheel. Officially launched at the 2010 Paris motor show in concept guise, the WRC Mini will be engineered and run by motorsport doyen Dave Richards and his Prodrive outfit, although customer packages will be available too, allowing independents to compete in the car. Not so much – this is no time for misty-eyed Paddy Hopkirk odes.

Mini Beachcomber Concept at Detroit motor show 2010

Tue, 15 Dec 2009

This funky beach-biased concept car has just appeared at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show in January. Called the Mini Beachcomber Concept, this flight-of-fancy Moke-inspired show car gives us our first glimpse of how Mini's production-spec 4x4 crossover will look at launch - we'll see the real car at the Geneva motor show in March 2010 ahead of an autumn UK launch. This four-seater, four-wheel-drive machine has been designed without doors or a conventional roof, so that its occupants are not cut off from the outside world.

One lap of the Web: $52 million Ferrari 250 GTO, Alfa Romeo Montreal for sale and more bizarro engines

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

-- Even as the hammer fell on Juan Manuel Fangio's $30 million Mercedes-Benz W196R, we knew that that car wasn't the most expensive one ever sold -- it was merely the most expensive car sold at auction. Other cars were reported to have traded for a bit more in private sales. But now we have word of a car that absolutely blows the sale price of Fangio's little Silver Arrow out of the water: a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO that sold to an undisclosed buyer for $52 million.
