Most of these parts interchange.  I have many volvo penta parts on hand so if you don't see what your looking for in my other auctions, just ask.   This listing is for the V8 transom shield which came from a mid 80's boat with a Volvo Penta GM 350 motor.  Takes the common 1.5 inch shaft steering fork and has dual relief ports.  This also comes with the steering linkage.   Looks pretty good and there is no crack in the casting where the tilt slides thru or any other damage.  It's a perfectly good reusable part.   If shipping is out of the country, email me for rate, unless it's already posted.  Again, be sure to check out my other auctions for more Volvo Penta parts.

This shield will also replace shield # 850678

USPS canceled parcel post so all heavy items must be shipped priority mail. The shipping calculator may not be accurate as I'll check ups also for the best rate. Any over payment will be refunded

McLaren managing director on leave, not expected in Geneva

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

McLaren Automotive's U.S.-born managing director, Antony Sheriff, is expected to be absent from the launch of the P1 hypercar at Geneva next week because he is on extended leave from the company. No reason for Sheriff's absence has been given, although McLaren is at pains to point out that he is “still employed as McLaren Automotive's managing director.” Rumors were circulating about Sheriff's absence from Woking in January, but company spokesmen back then stressed that he was still employed by McLaren and would unveil the P1 at Geneva. Despite those assurances, sources had reported earlier in the year that Sheriff “hadn't been seen in his office” for some days.

We brought you news of Mercedes’ thinly veiled Concept GLA45 AMG when it was shown at the Los Angeles Motor Show last year. Thankfully, now we can tell you about the real thing. The German firm has given the green light for GLA45 AMG, with the final production version set to make its world debut at the 2014 NAIAS North American International Auto Show in Detroit later this month.

Citroen C-Buggy

Mon, 15 May 2006

Citroen will show their latest concept in Spain at the Madrid Motor Show next week. Chopping the roof off last year's C-AirPlay brings the concept closer the Smart Crossblade seen in 2001, and proposes a potential direction for a more leisure-orientated supermini. Just as open-cars are philosophically opposed to closed ones, Citroen has carried this equation through to the trim as well: the gray exterior of the C-Buggy contrasts with the white of the C-AirPlay, while the green interior inverts its forbear?s rouge.
