More power and track bias for ultimate Megane RS

Thu, 05 Oct 2006

By Phil McNamara Motor Industry 05 October 2006 01:07 Renaultsport is unleashing its most honed Megane yet – the catchily named 230 F1 Team R26. A rasping sports exhaust and ECU tweaks boost the 2.0-litre turbo engine’s power from 225 to 230bhp.

But as well as heralding a new junior crossover in the Mazda fold, the Minagi also showcases the company’s new Skyactiv engineering philosophy and Kodo design mantra.

Jaguar XE is the new small Jaguar: Geneva Motor Show (video)

Heading for an arrival in 2015, the Jaguar XE (we always doubted the commonly accepted Jaguar XS moniker) will be the first car in its segment to have an aluminium monocoque and, say Jaguar, is set to be the most advanced and efficient sports saloon in its sector and will be the first production Jaguar using the new aluminium architecture used for the Jaguar C-X17 SUV Concept.
