Hosted by our quarterly interior design publication Interior Motives, the competition challenges design students around the world to come up with innovative designs that offer clever solutions to the problems facing 21st century vehicle design. Road users wary of driverless cars
Wed, 30 Jul 2014ROAD USERS will be wary of the introduction of driverless cars, motoring groups said today. The AA said Business Secretary Vince Cable was today expected to confirm that the first trials of driverless cars would start in January 2015. But AA president Edmund King said that a recent AA/ Populus survey of more than 23,000 AA members showed that 43% did not agree that UK legislation should be amended to even allow trials of the technology.

The evolutionary design, built atop a chassis that rides on a longer wheelbase, will feature a steeper rake on the windshield and stand shorter than the outgoing 997, while retaining similar overall dimensions. According to an insider, the new 2012 911 will also feature a heavily revised interior, similar to that of the recent Cayenne and Panamera models.
