Thu, 17 Jul 2014The 2015 SMART ForTwo & SMART ForFour Mercedes has been busy teasing their 2015 SMART car, and now its revealed. SMART believe they’ve kept everything that’s great about the current SMART, and ditched everything that was poor. In particular, the awful automated manual ‘box has been ditched in favour of a five-speed manual or six-speed dual-clutch auto, instantly making the new SMART more appealing to drive.
Mini reveals John Cooper Works Concept at Detroit auto show
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Today at the Detroit Auto Show Mini debuted the new 2014 John Cooper Works Concept. The JCW (as the cool people call it) is the performance version of the Mini, and the debut of the concept included a rock band and impressive amount of smoke courtesy of a fog machine. The JCW concept was decked out in traditional John Cooper Works style, and that meant an exclusive color scheme with red color accents over Bright Highways Grey paint, and 18-inch light alloy wheels.
Subaru BRZ (2012) - more on FT-86's shy sister
Mon, 26 Sep 2011Since the joint venture between Toyota and Subaru was announced in 2009, we've seen four concept cars from Toyota of its version, the FT-86/Scion FR-S. But barring some unfortunate-looking Impreza based engineering mules, we've yet to see the Subaru edition. That situation didn't change at the recent 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, where Subaru once again exhibited the rear-drive platform of what we now know will be called the BRZ with a transparent bodyshell rather than production panels.
