Fri, 20 Aug 2010The 2011 Ford Mondeo Sport - only 3000 being built We’re almost up to the next plate change in the UK (60 reg out next month) and Ford are getting out the marketing tools to tempt buyers in to showrooms. One of the top foot-fall makers is the Limited Edition, with extra kit for not a lot of extra dosh. Which as we always say is great if you’d have specced the options thrown in anyway.
Aston Martin V12 Vantage ends & big changes afoot at Aston Martin
Sat, 04 May 2013Launched as a limited edition V12 Vantage in 2009, by 2010 Aston decided there was enough demand to make the V12 Vantage a proper part of Aston’s standard offerings, and since then it’s been the same. The V12 Vantage has also spawned a Roadster version (which, we think, stays in production – at least for now) and the slightly bonkers V12 Zagato, which conspired to look a bit too extreme for an Aston and cost an arm and a leg. We know that AM sold around 1200 V12 Vantage Coupes, around 100 V12 Vantage Roadsters and a handful of V12 Zagatos, but now the run is at an end and we do wonder if there will be a replacement?
Chevrolet Bids Farewell To Europe
Thu, 05 Dec 2013AMERICAN car giant General Motors has made a surprise announcement that from 2016 its Chevrolet brand will be no more in Europe. The company has stated that it wishes to concentrate on long established brands Opel and Vauxhall instead. All is not lost, as GM will keep what it says is its ‘iconic’ models such as the Corvette, while the firm intends to focus attention on its traditional American luxury brand Cadillac ahead of a greater European push in the next few years.
