Fiat 500C Abarth coming?

Tue, 21 Jul 2009

It looks like Fiat are planning an Abarth version of the 500C for 2010 But the best comparison to the Fiat 500 on the market is the MINI. Fiat are obviously taking a leaf out of the MINI handbook of marketing by throwing special editions like the Fiat 500 Abarth Cometizione on to the market. Treasures from West Germany lurk at Sonoma Raceway

Fri, 04 Apr 2014

In my role of Chief Justice of the 24 Hours of LeMons Supreme Court, I travel to Sonoma Raceway, aka Sears Point, at least twice per year. Most of the time I'm there, I'm stuck disciplining miscreant racers with incomprehensible penalties, but every so often I slip away in my Race Organizer Review car to shoot some action photos of the competitors. A good area for shooting LeMons cars is from the access road that runs parallel to the track between turn 10 and turn 11, and getting there takes me past an area of shops and garages… and I always spot some interesting cars parked there.

Video: GM's Clay Dean on the future of urban mobility

Wed, 14 Aug 2013

Clay Dean is the star of a new Faces of GM video, Anticipating the Driving Experience of the Future. The global design director for GM's Advanced Design Group, whose job also entails exploring future transportation design solutions, talks about the need to avoid short-term thinking on urban mobility, as by 2030 60 percent of the world's population will live in cities. As new challenges start to emerge, such as increasing congestion, Dean believes it is time to start thinking about transportation in a completely different way.
