These special forged re-indexed torsion-bar adjusting cogs will level the vehicle without compromising suspension performance; along with a custom valved set of 4 Bilstein shocks for the ultimate ride quality and front end wheel travel needed for leveling keys. With this kit installed, you can use up to 33" diameter tires. Installation is straight forward and can be accomplished in less than three hours, excluding the required professional alignment.

Please be aware that just running leveling keys ONLY will result in a harsh ride, as the stock OE shocks are too short to allow for enough suspension travel. Longer front shocks are necessary for a good ride this paired with a set of Bilstien rear shocks, will give you that KILLER Bilstein ride you are looking for!

01-10 GM 8Lug Bilstein front shocks. These shocks are made exculsively for Cognito and to there specifications, giving you the needed travel to optimize ride quality and suspension function. These shocks can be used on stock height vehicles, torsion key lifted vehicles, or vehicles running the Cognito upper control arm leveling kit.

Note:

A wheel alignment will be necessary after adjusting the torsion bars.
A torsion bar unloading tool is necessary to complete this installation safety. If you are un-familiar with this procedure please have a qualified mechanic perform this upgrade.

The 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 RS will be at the Frankfurt Motor Show As you can probably guess, the first thing the latest GT3 RS gets is a hike in power, courtesy of the move from the old naturally aspirated 3.6 litre to the 3.8 litre you get in the new 911 Turbo, minus the turbos. But that still gives you 450bhp – up 15bhp on the regular GT3 – all of which gets shoved through a shorter ratio six-speed manual box. No nancy-boy paddles shifters here.

The Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks unit (MBS) revealed a design study celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Unimog at the Daimler plant in Wörth recently. The concept, called simply ‘60 Years Unimog', is said to inform the future form language of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle design. Combining of the past and future of the Unimog, the MBS development team, the Daimler commercial vehicle designers in Sindelfingen and a model designing partner have created an avant-garde vehicle that retains the inherent functionality and capabilities of the now iconic vehicle.
