Thu, 12 Aug 2010

The Jaguar XKR175 - to celebrate 75 years of Jaguar If you read the report we recently did about Jaguar celebrating its 75th anniversary by launching the Limited Edition Jaguar XKR75 in to Europe, you could be forgiven for thinking that either the headline is a mistake or Jaguar has had a quick recalculate and realised they’d actually been in business for a century more than they thought. For starters, Brabus has increased the V8 engine's displacement from 5,461cc to 5,912cc, installing custom-made forged pistons and a precision balanced billet crankshaft, and replacing the stock turbos with ones of their own design featuring larger compressor units.

Not only is there more pressure on car batteries in the winter as we rely on them for heating and lighting, but they also struggle to hold their charge. So, in a bid to prove that their batteries are unbeatable in the cold, a Canadian company has built a pick-up truck out of ice.
