Ford is making its Transit Connect van cool the only way it knows how: with the help of Hot Wheels. The company unveiled a customized royal blue van today at SEMA in Las Vegas. Alongside the Transit, the Blue Oval also revealed a customized 1956 Ford F-100 pickup, codenamed Snakebit, for charity.

CEO Carlos Ghosn declared the building open at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday. The F-Type offers little in the way of surprise to anyone who saw last year’s C-X16 concept, or indeed a current XK for that matter. It’s a more compact sports car than the XK, aimed squarely at the BMW Z4, Porsche Boxster and Mercedes SLK.
