You are bidding on a used but fully operational right side Electric Door Mirror used used in the Jaguar Series III XJ6 and XJ12 in the 1980s and early 1990s. This is for a left hand drive car and has the words "OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR" etched into the surface of the mirror. The Jaguar part number is JA-BBC4954. Please note that this mirror is not for the Jaguar XJ6 that went into production in 1988 referred to as the XJ40 design as that car uses an entirely different door mirror. You can pay over $230 for a new one of these, or you can get this one for less than a fourth of that, with shipping included. The pictures shows details of the mirror and where it is located in a Series III XJ. If you are having problems with your electric mirror adjusting up/down and left/right it is possible that the small electric motors in your mirror have gone bad. If your mirror is broken or missing, this is the one for you. I just removed this one from one of my Jaguars where is has be reliably working in that car for years. I installed one of my spare mirrors on that car so that I was sure that this mirror was going to be reliable for any buyer.
I am auctioning hundreds of items, including used parts for Jaguar Series III XJ6 and MK7, MK8 and MK 9, that are now in excess of what I need. If you need something for these cars and you don't see it in one of my auctions, please send me an email through ebay and I will check to see if I have it.

This is the new limited-edition Renaultsport Megane 275 Trophy. AUDI UK has created a stunning series of low-light photos to celebrate its success this year, just in time for the shortest day of the year. The seven photos use a technique called ‘light painting’, where a stationary object in the dark is lit up by a small hand-held light to selectively brighten areas over a long exposure period to eventually create an unusual-looking end result. To the trained eye it looks like Audi has supplemented the photographer’s torch with static lighting to increase the beauty of the end result, but there’s no doubting their success.

The Mitsubishi XR-PHEV Evolution for Gran Turismo 6 brought to life
The lines between reality and virtual reality are becoming ever more blurred as so much of our lives play out on line, and nowhere more so than with concept cars. The latest virtual reality car brought to some sort of real world life is the Mitsubishi XR-PHEV Evolution Vision Gran Turismo concept (much like the VW GTI Roadster we saw recently) which is being made available for Gran Turismo 6. Sadly, the XR-PHEV Evolution is just a concept and isn’t intended to proclaim the future of the Mitsubishi EVO, even though it’s an enticing thought.
