Raikkonen win for Ferrari in Belgian Grand Prix
Sun, 30 Aug 2009Kimmi Raikkonen wind for Ferrari at Spa-Francorchamps But the big winner of the day was Force India, with Giancarlo Fisichella taking his car to an astonishing second place. And there was no luck in the position either, both Fisichella and the Force India were strong enough to have won with a little more luck. Starting from pole, Fisichella was blitzed down the long straight by Raikkonen’s KERS, but managed to hustle the tail of the Ferrari to the end, finishing just 0.9 seconds adrift at the end.
Saab pulls out of Frankfurt motor show

Yet the company's latest announcement does little to dispel the notion that all is not well in Trollhatten, as it has announced that it will not be featuring at September's Frankfurt auto show. The Swedish car manufacturer has had trouble paying suppliers in recent months, and it is thought that Saab will instead use the money allotted to Frankfurt in order to pay them.
Fall in drug-driving admissions
Fri, 07 Feb 2014THE NUMBER of motorists admitting to drug-driving is falling, according to Government figures. Just 0.5% of motorists said they had driven under the influence of drugs during the 2012/13 financial year compared with 1% who owned up to this offence during 2011/12. Based on a survey by the Office for National Statistics, the figures also showed that 6.4% of motorists had admitted drink-driving at least once in 2012/13 compared with 7.4% in 2011/12.
