Like its creaking predecessor, it's a seven-seater MPV based on Volkswagen group underpinnings and is bound for a life of family functionality and taxi airport runs. Sliding doors figure this time round to give the Sharan a dose of car park practicality.
Ferrari 458 Italias ‘selling for £200k in UK’
Wed, 10 Feb 2010The first examples of the new Ferrari 458 Italia supercar are trading for close to £200,000, price guide Glass’s Guide reports today. It claims wealthy enthusiasts are paying a £25,000 premium to jump the queue and get into one of the first 458s in Britain. The Italia lists at £169,545 in the UK, with first deliveries due for summer 2010.

Mon, 18 Aug 2008The Lexus IS-F is a significant new design for one core reason: it introduces a performance sub-brand parallel to that of the M-cars from BMW, AMG from Mercedes-Benz, and the S and RS sub-brands from Audi. This then is Lexus making a logical next step to further encroach on the established German premium brands. BMW originated the premium brands' performance sub-brand with the 'M for Motorsport' M3 of 1986 (the M1 supercar of 1978 preceded that, but was a singular model, not a performance derivative).
