FAQ

  • HOW DO I INSTALL THIS KIT?
  • The triangular spacer installs above your strut assembly and the U shaped bracket installs on the bottom of your strut assembly. This allows for the lift amounts to be divided and puts less overall strain on your suspension from lifting your truck. The lift blocks install in between your axle and leaf pack and extended U-bolts are provided to replace your factory bolts.
  • ARE THE SPACERS COATED?
  • Yes, the spacers are Teflon coated and will never lose its finish. Anodized aluminum kits will change color over time. Painted or powder coated steel chips and takes out chunks of the finish. However, Teflon resists all of the elements plus gives you a hard coating that is scratch resistant and will last forever.
  • DO I NEED LONGER SHOCKS FOR THIS KITS?
  • Longer shocks are not required with this kit. The dealer recommends that you replace your shocks every 50,000 miles. If you haven't done so yet, it is recommended to replace it all at same time.
  • WHY AM I LIFTING MY TRUCK HIGHER IN THE FRONT?
  • The reason why we offer our full kits higher in the front is to get rid of some of your factory rake. Because your rear is higher than the front from the factory, by raising your truck an uneven amount, will make it look more level and look much better.

The Supercharged, 503bhp Jaguar XFR All the Jaguar news of late has been on the new Jaguar XJ. But the car that started the real Jaguar Renaissance was the Jaguar XF, and the halo version of that successful car is the 503bhp Jaguar XFR. So when Jaguar called and asked if we’d like a Jaguar XFR for a few days it would have been churlish to decline!

Suzuki loses the American Dream, dies an unloved death on our shores

Tue, 06 Nov 2012

On Nov. 5, 2012, the American Suzuki Motor Corp.filed for bankruptcy and announced that no more Suzukis will be sold in America—not now, not ever. (Unless someone has the Bricklin-like foresight to import Wagon Rs to our advanced civilization in, say, 50 years.) And with that news, the Stateside automotive journalists filed their respective stories, drove home and sat on the couch to twiddle their thumbs.
