The new Peugeot 208 (2012) set to be revealed next week
The Peugeot 207 has been around for a long time, and has never quite hit the highs in sales Peugeot hoped. But the replacement for the 207 – the new Peugeot 208 – is just round the corner, and Peugeot has high hopes the new 208 will be a big hit. We’re expecting the Peugeot 208 to make its production ready public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in the Spring of 2012, but La Tribune are reporting this morning that Peugeot are planning to reveal the 208 on 2nd November.

Despite a few close calls and false starts, Auburn, Ind., remains a town where two large operators hold collector-car auctions at the unofficial end of summer. Worldwide Auctioneers continued at its regular space (though with a much larger sale), and the new kid down the street, Auctions America by RM, took over where Kruse had faltered. Auctions America held a successful rookie effort at the former Kruse Auction Park in Auburn.

The Lamborghini Urus SUV (pictured) has been signed-off for production by VW
It’s already two years since the Lamborghini Urus SUV went from speculation to reality as a concept version arrived at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show. Since then we’ve had speculation that, apart from being underpinned by the next generation large SUV platform from VW, which will underpin everything from the Bentley Falcon SUV to the next generation Audi Q7, the Urus will probably be fitted with a twin-turbo V8 delivering around 600bhp, a take on the 4.0 litre twin turbo used by Bentley and Audi. We’ve also had confirmation from a Lamborghini source that the Urus SUV will launch in 2017 and spearhead Lamborghini’s drive to reach annual sales of 3000 cars.
