Our US Made double braid nylon is recommended for docking, anchoring and mooring. Double braid nylon is a soft nylon cover with a nylon core providing good shock absorption due to controlled elasticity. Nylon rope is strong, dependable and resistant to ultraviolet damage and provides a much longer life than other lines. Double braid nylon produces a strong easy to handle anchor line. These anchor lines contain a spliced in galvanized thimble. Matching dock lines available in any length from our line shop.

Volvo designer Peter Horbury moves to China's Geely Group

Ford names Freeman Thomas as Strategic Design Director
Wed, 04 May 2005Long-time DaimlerChrysler designer Freeman Thomas is joining Ford Motor Company from June 1. Thomas, 47, will become director of Strategic Design, reporting to Peter Horbury, executive director of Design, North America. Based in the company's Irvine, California studio, Thomas will lead advanced design teams in both California and Dearborn.
