Up for sale is a pair of 1.5" thick front strut spacers. These are made to fit 1996-2004 Nissan Pathfinders and Infiniti QX4s. This vehicle is called a R50 platform. THEY WILL NOT FIT VEHICLES WITH AIR RIDE SUSPENSIONS! THIS IS NOT A BODY LIFT IN ANY WAY! This is a suspension lift and will not effect steering, brakes or fuel lines in any way. Since the vehicle has independent front suspension you should get 2"+ of lift using just the 1.5" thick spacer. Check my other items for sale as I also make the rear coil spacers and a combo kit of both front and rear. THIS SALE IS JUST THE FRONT SPACERS. All parts are made from cast urethane. This material is used to make tooling for the foundry industry. They are extremely durable & will not crush or deform at all like some softer spacer lifts on the market. The strut spacers are made to go on top of the factory strut mounts. The factory studs will need to be punched out and the new bolts will go all the way through the strut mount, spacers and lower strut flange. You will get about 2" of lift from these spacers. They are all dimensionally consistent as they are cast from a master set of molds, not machined or cut by hand. All edges are smooth, and personally inspected by me. The color runs completely through the parts. They are not painted and will not fade. You will need to lengthen/replace the rear shocks. KYB #KG4163 is a good shock to use. Frequently asked questions:
What size tires can I use when I use these spacers? - Tire size depends on a lot of things. Will you cut/trim the fenders? Will you use factory rims or aftermarket? The black Pathfinder in the picture is running this kit and LT245/75/16" tires. If you want to trim the fenders a lot and crank out the steering stops so they do not rub the frame you could run a larger tire. How hard are they to install? - Anyone who has some mechanical ability should be able to easily install this kit in a few hrs. Why pay hundreds of dollars more for other lifts when for under $200 you can gain a full 2” of rear lift giving you more ground clearance and allowing the use of larger more aggressive tires???? The addition of this lift transforms these little SUV's into a worthy on or off-road rig.

BMW unveils 2012 Olympic Pavilion
Tue, 07 Feb 2012BMW – one of the major sponsors of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games – has unveiled its pavilion for the event. Designed by British architecture firm Serie, the Pavilion makes use of various carbon reducing and recycled elements in its construction to symbolize BMW's sustainability drive. The Pavilion's upper platform will feature a range of BMW products, including the new i3 and i8 electric models, whilst the lower part will house an interactive display that allows visitors to view just how BMW is supporting both the Olympic games and Team GB.
McLaren’s Jenson Button & Lewis Hamilton get animated
Wed, 11 Jul 2012McLaren has teamed up with Framestore to produce a series of animated – and amusing – cartoons showing on Sky F1. Somehow, despite having the British Grand Prix in one window and the Andy Murray match at Wimbledon in another on Sunday, we managed to miss this cartoon featuring McLaren, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button on Sky F1. It seems Sky F1 will be featuring a new cartoon from McLaren at every Grand Prix for the rest of the season, and if they are up to this standard they’ll be well worth looking forward to.
AXE WOES
Mon, 04 Aug 2014AN ORDINARY car journey almost turned into a horror film on a highway north of the US city of Boston when an axe smashed through the windscreen of a car. Massachusetts State Police say the axe bounced out of a dump truck. A photo was released showing the axe with a corner of its blade stuck in the passenger side of the car's dashboard.
