1.9l Tdi (bew Engine) Alternator Pulley And Pulley Removal Tool (by Metal Nerd) on 2040-parts.com
Delaware, Ohio, United States
I purchased the alternator pulley removal tool kit from Metal Nerd and a new alternator pulley but then found out that I needed to replace the whole alternator because the case was cracked. This is everything you need to replace the alternator on your 1.9L TDI. My engine code is the BEW, so I'm not sure if this also fits the ALH engine code 1.9L.

500 hp Lexus LX 570 answers question no one asked
Tue, 28 Jan 2014We never thought of the Lexus LX 570 as being particularly short on power. Apparently the team at Hennessey Performance had a different opinion and took matters into their own hands, creating a supercharger package for the full-size SUV. The standard Lexus LX 570 already pumps out 383 hp and 403 lb-ft of torque courtesy of its 5.7-liter V8 engine, with power going to all four wheels.
BMW 7-series hybrid due in 2009
Mon, 07 Jul 2008By Nick Gibbs Motor Industry 07 July 2008 14:30 BMW will launch a hybrid petrol version of the newly unveiled 7-series in 2009, but admits it’s more for green-leaning V8 addicts than seriously eco-aware bosses. Even with the latest lithium-ion batteries, the forthcoming 4.4-litre V8 petrol-electric version will struggle to match the astonishing 39.2mpg and 192g/km of CO2 of the new six-cylinder diesel, especially when BMW will launch stop-start technology for the whole range within two years. The hybrid is likely to cost several thousand more than the £65,000 it’s estimated you’ll need to buy the regular, twin-turbo 750i that goes on sale in November 2008.
