New MINI to be unveiled on 18 November
Mon, 19 Aug 2013The new third-generation MINI Hatch will be revealed at the British brand’s Oxford factory on the 18 November, ahead of a simultaneous showcase at the 2013 LA and Tokyo Motor Shows two days later. In a nice touch from the BMW-owned carmaker, the special unveiling event will be held 107 years to the day since creator of the original Mini, Sir Alec Issigonis, was born. Tracking services naturally boost the chances of recovery, but one lucky bike owner has Bike Trac and Interpol to thank for the return of their prized possession after a particularly lengthy search. Taken on a Monday evening from South London, the £12,000 Ducati 899 Panigale was quickly confirmed as stolen thanks to the equipped Bike Trac unit communicating with its owner and the firm’s operating centre.
McLaren P1: First interior photos arrive
Tue, 12 Feb 2013Ahead of its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show next month, McLaren has sent us the first interior photos of their new hypercar. As we already know, the P1 isn’t following the almost unique 1+2 seating concept of the McLaren F1, but has opted to make it a regular two seater. That means that there will be no right hand drive cars – they’ll all be left hand drive – and McLaren are left deciding how to make the P1′s cockpit unique.
