Here is a pair of '56 Chevrolet BelAir, 150 or 210, door striker plates. These came off of a 1956 Chevy Bel Air that I dismantled. They are in great condition..naturally the drivers side has a very slight bit more wear on the plastic slide. The springs are not broken nor rotted and non-functional..the springs work and the plastic slides do slide. These would look so much nicer if media blasted to bring out the metal color before installing on your car. I do believe these are the same strikers that are on a 1955 Chevy also. Fri, 03 Feb 2012The jury of the 2012 Michelin Challenge Design has selected and released images of its 27 finalists, chosen from a huge number of designs submitted by aspiring automotive designers. The competition's theme, ‘City 2046: Art, Life and Ingenuity', saw more than 1,700 registrants representing 88 countries which left the jury reviewing over 200 projects. Michelin set all participants a challenging brief, calling for designs for a "desirable, safe and sustainable personal vehicle" specifically for Los Angeles, Mumbai, Paris, Rio de Janeiro or Shanghai.

Thu, 16 Sep 2010Hyundai has revealed the first images of its new ix20, a new B-segment MPV that will join the Korean automaker's product range in Europe later this year. Following on from the ix35, the ix20 is the second European car to adopt Hyundai's new 'fluidic sculpture' design language. The new car, which will make its official debut at the Paris motor show, has been designed and developed at Hyundai's European R&D center in Rüsselsheim, Germany, under the direction of Thomas Buerkle. The car's name is said to reflect the new model's crossover-like versatility, which combines functionality with sportier driving dynamics. Hyundai claims the ix20 aims to steer away from the boxy minivan image typically associated with the segment and appeal to buyers with young families.
