The deadline for the second Phase of the CDN-GM Interactive Design competition has been extended until Monday, November 7th. This gives you another week to tweak, improve on and finalize your already impressive entries. We apologize to any of you who may have experienced any technical issues over the weekend.

Lexus LFA Nurburgring (2010) first official pictures

Lexus hasn’t even started production of the LFA supercar yet, but it’s already unveiled a limited edition version – the Lexus LFA Nurburgring. Built to celebrate the LFA’s entry into the 2010 Nurburgring 24 Hours race, just 50 versions of this track-focussed supercar will be made. The tweaks and changes aren’t radical: the front-mounted 4.8-litre V10 has 10 bhp more (up to 562bhp) and the automated manual ‘box now shifts quicker (gear changes are down from 0.2 to 0.15 seconds) though the 3.7sec 0-62mph time and 202mph top speed remain the same.

Ford increases UK Car Prices

Ford is to increase UK Car prices by an average of 3.75% as a result of the weak pound You can’t blame Ford – it has to make a living, and things are tough enough for car makers at the moment without suffering at the hands of unstable currencies. Ford reckons that the movement in the Pound against the Euro in the last yaer or so has cost it nine figures on its UK income. Big money, no question.
