FEATURES for your 100A 12VDC Coil EV Contactor Set

o   100A Contact Switching

o   SPST-NO Contact

o   Maximum Coil Energy Waste: 15W

o   To confirm the contact will work for your needs, multiply the contact current rating below (100A) by the contact rating voltage below, (60 for DC) and you get the max wattage of the contactor (6000W, 6kW)

§  then divide the wattage by your expected maximum voltage, example: 144V (6000/144=41.6)

§  And you get the max amperage of 41.6A

§  You will need to stay under the max Wattage of 6000 at all times in order to keep your contactor safe

New ‘E10’ fuel could cost drivers £billions

Fri, 07 Feb 2014

A Government proposal to implement a new type of petrol fuel called ‘E10’ has been met with outrage, with consumer car publication What Car? branding the plans as “irresponsible.” E10 petrol could potentially cost UK drivers billions of pounds each year, as the new fuel is less efficient and more polluting than the current blend of petrol used in the UK. On Bing: see pictures of how petrol is made Scientists produce “petrol from air” Petrol sold in Britain already conforms to E5 rules, containing up to 5% bio-ethanol by volume.

Stig test drives motorway pub

Wed, 22 Jan 2014

The BBC has released a video of the Stig test driving Britain’s first motorway pub, presumably as a way of promoting its new series of Top Gear. The video shows the Stig pull up at Beaconsfield services in a Vauxhall Insignia, before entering the Hope and Champion pub and posing for photos, and then ordering a pint of beer. On Bing: see pictures of the Stig England’s first motorway pub set to open However, as the Stig raises the pint to his mouth, he realises it’s not drinkable as he is still wearing his helmet.
