TomTom unveils latest navigation system

TomTom’s Go 2505 M Live navigation system debuted on Wednesday at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The new system will be the first to offer TomTom’s HD traffic service, which provides drivers with accurate information for all major roads in real time and which updates every two minutes. The new system also includes voice recognition and Bluetooth hands-free calling.

Hyundai Veloster to get new 204bhp Turbo When Hyundai revealed details of the Veloster Coupe – the successor to the successful Hyundai Coupe – we found lots we liked and, really, just on thing we didn’t – its paucity of power. All the new Veloster had to offer was theĀ 138bhp 1.6 litre GDI petrol which, although quite frugal, didn’t exactly light a fire of desire for the Veloster in the way we would have liked. So when we reported a couple of weeks ago that Hyundai had revealed a couple of new engines in Korea – a 204bhp turbo and a 150bhp diesel – we rather hoped that Hyundai would see fit to bolt both in to the Veloster sooner rather than later.

BMW has updated the M5 super-saloon alongside the facelifted 5-series range. There are only tiny visual tweaks, but the big news is a new Competition Package version to take the fight to the new Mercedes E63 AMG S. What modifications do M5s fitted with the Competition Package get?
