Jaguar & Land Rover eschew Detroit for Delhi

Although Jaguar Land Rover has revealed that it won’t be exhibiting at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show in January – instead it will be out in force at the Delhi Motor Show – it’s really not a huge deal. Chrysler, Hyundai-Kia, VW lead industry to 14 percent sales gain

Wed, 06 Jun 2012The vehicle in these photos might resemble an Alfa Romeo Giulietta from some angles, but the raised ride height, chunky all-terrain tires and slotted grille hiding behind the camouflage suggest a prototype of the 2014 Jeep Liberty. Code-named UJ, the new Jeep Liberty will be built at Chrysler's Toledo, Ohio, assembly plant. A new 3.2-liter V6 will power the Liberty, which will come with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
