This chromoly 1-piece rear axle shaft conversion kit from Alloy USA fits 82-86 Jeep CJ7 and CJ8 with a Wide-Track AMC 20 rear axle.
Alloy USA uses high strength 4140 chromoly in all its Jeep axles. Our axles are heat-treated twice and induction hardened to produce these heavy-duty axles that are up to 35% stronger than stock 1040 axles. Alloy USA uses the latest cold spline rolling technology, to produce splines that are stronger than traditional cut splines. Our shafts are covered by an exclusive 10-year warranty! Rear axle shaft kits include everything you need for your installation: both passenger and drive side shafts, seals, bearings and wheel studs.

Art Center and Clemson University students unveil Mazda Deep Orange 3 concept

The Deep Orange 3, which features a body designed by Art Center student Frederick Naaman, has been unveiled at the Center for Automotive Research Management's Briefing Seminars in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The project started with market research focusing on what kind of car Generation Y would want to drive, with the results showing that the majority wanted five or more seats.
Drivers 'concerned at lack of goodwill'

The levels of ‘aggressive, impatient and inconsiderate’ driving increase at this time of year, according to the survey of an unspecified number of car owners. Nearly a quarter (23%) of respondents said that things like lane hogging, failing to indicate properly - or at all - and not letting other motorists out at junctions was a real problem at this time of year.
Horror crash drivers offered training course
Tue, 21 Jan 2014POLICE who found enough evidence to prosecute 32 motorists following a 150-car pile-up have offered to send them on a driver alertness course instead. A senior police officer said handing the drivers a chance to go on the course would be more beneficial than putting them before the courts. The decision to spare drivers prosecution follows a four-month investigation by specialist collision investigators and case review staff from Kent Police.
