And that isn’t going to change much with the 2014 Kia Soul, but this time the Soul gets based on the latest Cee’d and grows in size, so it should be a more appealing drive. With more modern car underpinnings, the new Soul should ride better and be more dynamic, with better suspension and a stiffer body shell making the Soul a very practical family car, but one which at least offers a little joy in the drive.
Vauxhall to launch sub-£7k city car
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Vauxhall is believed to be working on a budget city car to rival the Toyota Aygo, Peugeot 108 and Citroen C1 trio unveiled earlier this month at Geneva. According to Auto Express, the new small hatchback will be based on the Chevrolet Spark platform and will start at less than £7,000 – undercutting the firm’s current Adam model by over £4,000. Michelin Challenge Design 2014 winners revealed
Mon, 13 Jan 2014The winners of the Michelin Challenge Design 2014 have just been revealed at a private event in Detroit's Renaissance Center following the first press day of the NAIAS. Chris Luchowiec of Poland was awarded first place for his ‘BOT' design, a completely autonomous transportation solution for relatively low populated areas. His concept is designed to address the issue of lone car commuters, traffic congestion and the generally poor experience of mass transit use.
