Infiniti Q30 Concept revealed ahead of its Frankfurt debut

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

The Infiniti Q30 Concept (pictured) will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month It’s more than two years since the Infiniti Etherea Concept concept arrived at the Geneva Motor Show to point the way towards Infiniti’s compact future, and now that future is almost here with the reveal of the Infiniti Q30 Concept following on from a teaser sketch of the Q30 earlier this month . Not that Infiniti has exactly thrown caution to the wind and sent us a whole raft of photos – just the single photo of the Q30 above – but it does give us a better idea of what Infiniti are aiming to do in the compact premium market. Based on the underpinnings of the new Mercedes A-Class – and probably using a mix of Mercedes and Renault engines – Infiniti want us to know that the Q30 isn’t just another addition to the ever increasing choice of premium crossovers, but a real of fusion of bodystyles.

Rolls Royce Wraith Drophead OFFICIALLY confirmed

Tue, 05 Aug 2014

A Drophead version of the Rolls Royce Wraith (pictured) officially confirmed for 2016 The Rolls Royce Wraith – a Ghost Coupe in all but name – arrived in 2013 as an almost properly sporting Rolls Royce, one designed for driving rather than being driven in. But the arrival of the Wraith did beg the question ‘How long will it be before there’s a Wraith Convertible?‘, and we thought that question was answered when Rolls Royce boss, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, said in November last year that a drophead Wraith would make it in to production. But it seems the boss saying something doesn’t necessarily make it official, so Rolls Royce has now officially confirmed today that a new Rolls Royce model – offering effortless, open-top touring – is under development and will arrive in 2016.

It’s this high-tech brain activity monitor that has now been adapted to determine how hard a driver is concentrating on the road ahead.
