to convert from the original low amp
Mitsubishi Alternator.

Rated at full output 140 Amps (110 amps at Idle)

GM  CS130 style alternator
Manufactured with PRIDE in Iola, Kansas  USA

This is the CS130 style used on many Eclipses, Talons and Lasers
to replace the low amp original Alternator.
It produces about 110 amps at idle and is GREAT for many
applications
that require higher amps at idle and full output.
Some modifications are necessary to the alternator housing and mounting bracket.
If the alternator is relocated to the back side of the engine
using a kit made by Jay Racing no modifications are necessary.

My son and I have combined experience of over 43 years  building alternators and starters.

Concept Car of the Week: Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Sport (1965)

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

Autodelta produced 112 Alfa Romeo TZs between 1963 and 1965. The TZ abbreviation – for Tubulare Zagato – refers to the innovative lightweight spaceframe chassis that kept the weight at an impressive 660kg and assured great performance both on the road and on the track. Out of those desirable TZs, Zagato bodied the vast majority but two of the chassis were also handed to rival carrozzerias Bertone and Pininfarina.

Jaguar XKR 75: Goodwood debut

Thu, 24 Jun 2010

The rather pleasant looking Jaguar XKR 75 We did say last week that Jaguar were about to make a production car out of last year’s XKR Goodwood Special. And as usual we had a punt at the name. Jaguar XKR-S?
