Lug nuts: These wheels require acorn (conical seat) lug nuts (included). You will receive a complete set of chrome acorn R.H. lug nuts in the thread size that is required for installing the wheels on your vehicle (correct lug nuts for the exact make, model and year vehicle as shown in the title of this listing). Most stock GM rear wheel drive vehicles with a 5x4.75" lug pattern and low or no offset original wheel studs / brake rotors / discs from 1953 through 1981 require lug nuts in a 7/16" R.H. thread size and most 1982-1992 models require metric 12x1.5 mm R.H. lug nuts. Hex Size on the supplied lug nuts may be either 13/16" or 3/4" depending on availability (vehicle's stock lug wrench may not work with the replacement lug nuts unless it matches it's hex size (however we also include a thin walled socket with the matching hex size for the installation of these wheels).

Valve Stems: Standard valve stems (rubber valve stems with chrome caps also included)

Wheel Installation: We recommend professional installation. A thin walled socket is required for lug nut installation (included). Lug nuts must be torqued following vehicle's specifications and re-torqued after driving a few miles after first installation.

Volvo V60 R-Design - finally, more get up and go We’re quite partial to the Volvo S60 (actually, we’re even more partial to the Volvo V60) and we like how Volvo’s R-Design pack makes a real impact without making the car look like a boy racer’s wet dream. What’s also nice – in this age of parsimony – is that even if you opt for a lowly diesel version you can still have a Volvo that looks like it gets there in a hurry, even if it doesn’t. But our preference is always for a bit more power, especially if all the visual cues make you smile in anticipation, so we have been know to bemoan the lack of any sort of power boost – even as an add-on option – on Volvo’s R-Design cars.

Game-changing 2015 fuel economy rules are forcing vehicle development teams to make high-stakes bets on expensive technologies--bets that will separate the winners from the also-rans. Not only do federal rules target a 2015 fleet average of 35.5 mpg, up from the current 27.5 mpg for cars and 23.1 mpg for light trucks; they force automakers to bet on different technology packages for each vehicle segment. Companies that do best at mixing technologies while keeping down costs will have an advantage when buyers wince at higher stickers.
