16" Front Wheel for Vintage Harley 45" Solo

Here is a new in the box front wheel assembly for Harley 45" Solo's. This repro wheel is the 16" type used on civilian 45" Solos from 1941 to 1952. It could also be used to replace the 18" wheel found on 1930 to 1940 Solo's and 1932 to 1940 Servi-cars. As OEM this wheel has the brake shell that was laced into the wheel. The hub is complete with bearings and axle. Brake shell and hub are painted black. The 40 spokes are stainless steel and the rim is chromed. the rim has the large valve stem hole for the old style (pre 1981) inner tubes with the rubber coated stems.

New Bentley Continental GT2 to get 650bhp & RWD – the end of Supersports?

New Bentley Continental GT2 planned Bentley has revealed to Auto Express that now its got the regular versions of the Continental out of the way – the 2011 Continental GT and the 2012 Continental GTC – they’re going to head down the halo route for the new Conti and produce the Bentley Continental GT2. The GT2 seems destined to occupy the space the Continental Supersports did in the previous generation Continental. It is said to be getting a bit if weight relief going on – around 200kg – and will come equipped with up to 650-bhp – that’s 30bhp more than the current Supersports.

Chrysler performance guru Dan Knott dies at 51

Chrysler senior vice president Dan Knott emerged as an unquestioned powerbroker in the industry, deftly navigating the flying circus that can be automaker-supplier relations. But enthusiasts of all stripes owe Knott a debt of gratitude, as he was a performance guy long before he became a well-known industry executive. Knott, 51, died April 29 after a battle with cancer.
