Suzuki A-Star concept (2007): first official pictures
Fri, 14 Dec 2007By First Official Pictures 14 December 2007 10:00 Suzuki will use New Delhi’s Auto Expo next January to unveil its latest concept, the A-Star. Aimed at key evolving world markets like India, as well as Europe, the five-door A-Star hatchback will major on minimal environmental impact and real-world affordability, wrapped in what we think is some pretty striking sheetmetal. Details of the A-Star are limited, but we know it will be powered by an all-new Euro 5-compliant 1.0-litre aluminium petrol engine, hooked up to a five-speed manual transmission, that’s said to post an ultra-low CO2 rating of less than 107g/km, combined with exceptional fuel economy.
Dacia won’t build a car smaller than the Sandero
Sun, 02 Jun 2013The Dacia Sandero (pictured) will remain Dacia’s smallest model In austere times, budget buys sell. Which is why Dacia is having so much success with its compact Sandero and Duster SUV. With prices on the Sandero starting at just £5,995 and Duster SUV prices as little as £8,995 (although you’ll have to pay £10,995 for a 4WD version), car buyers are buying Dacias as quickly as Renault can build them, with sales in a European market that shrank by 7 per cent last year up by 18 per cent to 90,000 cars for Dacia.
Kia Ceed facelift at 2009 Frankfurt motor show
Mon, 10 Aug 2009By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 10 August 2009 10:01 The Ceed is the car that changed our perception of Kia, and three years after launch the first model the Korean company designed and built entirely in Europe has been given a mid-life facelift. The new looks are obvious, with revised headlights and a tweaked grille meant to give the Ceed the latest Korean family face seen on the Soul. There are also tweaked rear lights, while new front and rear bumpers make the Ceed 25mm longer than before.
