Auction is for a 1920s? vintage outside rear view mirror with a rectangular head measuring 2 3/4" X 5 1/4". Mirror glass is nice but back of head (stainless) is heavily tarnished (no pits) which should clean off with work or have the patina you want if using on a Rat Rod. Mirror arm & base (chromed) have a few tiny pits but should polish up nicely.

Next Mustang to feature global design input, Ford says
Wed, 02 Mar 2011Ford Motor Co.'s design studios worldwide will provide styling ideas for an American icon: the next generation Mustang. "It is a common process we [now] use on every vehicle," Derrick Kuzak, Ford's group vice president for global product development, said Tuesday at the Geneva auto show. Ford's next-generation pony car will be the first Mustang with styling themes proposed by studios in Europe, Australia and other regions.

Approved mechanics essential for quality service
Wed, 27 Nov 2013DRIVERS need to make sure their car is being properly serviced by a qualified mechanic, says the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). To help drives do this, it has launched a government-backed scheme called the Professional Register. While there are around 175,000 people in the UK who call themselves automotive technicians, the IMI says it can only recommend around 27,000 as having the required skills and competence to carry out work to the required standard in their specialism.
