Radiator Support Rod Cover Nuts (4) How about these highly polished stainless steel thread covers for your favorite Ford radiator support rods. They will hide those ugly threads! The short pair are 3/8" fine thread and are 1 1/2" long. They are for the firewall side. The long pair are 5/16" fine thread and 3 1/2" long. They are for the radiator side. I have the stainless rods and firewall clips in the Classic Car Goodies Store. The rods are available in 26" and 32 1/2" long. Happy Cruisin'. Tue, 07 Jan 2014Chevrolet announced it will be video streaming the reveal of its much-anticipated 2015 Corvette Z06 from the Detroit auto show floor, and you can catch the whole event below. The preview starts at 9:30 am on Monday, January 13 and will also include the first official look at the upcoming C7.R Corvette race car. You may recall the spy photos of the Z06 we captured testing earlier this year, and the single teaser image Chevy released of the upcoming hi-po Corvette indicates some of the cosmetic changes.
CDN launches Car Design Awards China

The third annual Car Design Awards China is now open, and entries are invited from students of any design discipline who are studying full time at a college in China. They will work to briefs set by the design chiefs of OEMs including Daimler, GM, JAC, Nissan and Volkswagen.

Tue, 27 Aug 2013Here’s Peugeot’s salvo in the fight to make cars more economical: the 208 Hybrid FE. The supermini concept can achieve a claimed average of 112mpg (and a maximum of 141mpg), and emits only 49g/km of CO2. Peugeot is especially keen to point out it’s a conventionally shaped supermini with five seats, unlike VW’s own super-frugal XL1, which looks decidedly sci-fi in comparison, but has a smaller boot than a Ferrari 458… The 208 FE is 25% slipperier and 20% lighter than a regular 208, but that’s only part of the reason it allegedly achieves such eye-opening numbers at the pumps.
