LISTED UP FOR SALE IS A FORD MODEL A ENGINE THAT WAS REBUILT SOME YEARS AGO. I BOUGHT IT FROM A MAN THAT STATED HE HAD REBUILT IT BUT I THINK HE JUST REPLACED THE PARTS THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THERE ARE FOUR VALVES THAT WERE REPLACED AND THE RINGS WERE REPLACED AND THE PISTONS ARE GOOD AND TIGHT. THE VALVES HAVE THE FORD SCRIPT ON THE TOP OF THEM. THIS ENGINE LOOKS REALLY GOOD. THE NUMBER ON THE SIDE OF THE BLOCK ARE A2428893. I TOOK DETAILED PICTURES OF THE MOTOR SO YOU ARE BUYING IT AS IS IN THE PICTURES. THE HEAD LOOKS GOOD ALSO. THE OIL PAN DID HAVE SOME OIL RESIDUE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN BUT WILL CLEAN OUT. I DO HAVE A WHOLE GASKET KIT FOR THE MOTOR .IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO ASK. Porsche has revealed its most powerful and arguably most extreme road-going 911 to date: the GT2 RS. The new rear-wheel-drive road rocket will debut publicly at the Moscow auto show in late August and will go on sale in the United States in October. The GT2 RS, to be built in a limited run of 500, is powered by the latest evolution of Zuffenhausen's 3.6-liter, twin-turbocharged, horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine, tuned to deliver a Le Mans-grade 620 hp.

Mark Higgins beats the TT course in to submission Tony Pond was a rally driver in the 1970s and ’80s, and he was rather good. Good enough to give the likes of Jimmy McRae a spanking from time to time and to drive in umpteen works cars, from Ford to Rover via Datsun. But Tony Pond is probably best remembered for piloting a Rover 827 Vitesse round the Isle of Man TT Circuit in 1990 at an average speed of over 100mph, the first time that had been done.
