This is a very RARE 2 barrel Schebler S Duplex 1 1/4" cast iron carburetor. This is the later series used on a 1930 REO Royal 8 ( notice the bottom configuration which is how I identified this as being a SX434 carb also see the last picture of the stamped number which is faint). This might also be used on Auburn, Cord, Marmon and others. Notice that one of the linkage arms is adjustable. This looks new BUT this has been sitting around for ages with a few dings. This is as close to new as you can get. Took it apart to free up the stuck pieces and it now moves freely. Be sure to check my other items daily. It may have taken a mistake in Barcelona by Schumacher to see Mark Webber on pole at the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix, but with a tight street circuit like Monaco that gives the Australian decent odds of taking the win and becoming the sixth different winner in the first six races of a topsy turvy 2012 season.
Honda delays Civic redesign
Mon, 17 May 2010Honda's redesigned Civic will not arrive until 2011, well past the typical five-year product cadence that would have landed the next-generation subcompact in dealer showrooms this fall. Changing market conditions and tougher fuel economy and emissions regulations affected the development of the upcoming Civic, John Mendel, American Honda Motor Co.'s executive vice president, said in an interview. Mendel said the next Civic would come next year, although he declined to give a specific month.
