You are looking at a  pair of  original 1933 Plymouth headlights for a long wheel base (PD) car.  These are very difficult to find in good shape as the long wheel base buckets are usually damaged from opening and closing the hood. This pair are slightly dented but are repairable.  One headlight shell has two some small dents and a small tear at the back but should be easily repairable.  The other bucket has some cracks at the base of the shell but no holes.  Both buckets  have bezels, reflectors, sockets for bulbs and original glass lenses.  The lenses don't appear to have any chips or cracks.  Sorry returns are not accepted so please email with questions so you are sure what you are bidding on.  Good luck.

Volkswagen Are Rally Champs For Second Year Running

Tue, 16 Sep 2014

ANOTHER year, another title – that’s the news from down under as Volkswagen has secured the World Rally Manufacturers’ Championship for the second year running after a clean sweep at the Rally Australia round. After a tense battle over the weekend, with Brit Kris Meeke leading for Citroen at one point, Volkswagen eventually took all three podium steps as Sebastien Ogier lead from teammate Jari-Matti Latvala with Andreas Mikkelsen coming in third. With only three rallies remaining this season, Volkswagen can no longer be caught at the top of the overall standings.

Electric Kia Soul planned for 2014

Fri, 05 Oct 2012

Kia has revealed that they will offer a battery electric version of the next generation Kia Soul when it arrives in 2014. Hyundai may have seen the light and decided the future for cars lies with hydrogen fuel cell cars and not battery electric cars, but sister company Kia thinks differently. It seems an odd polarity for the Korean siblings to take different routes to the future of powertrains for cars, but perhaps it’s just a case of hedging bets rather than an inability by Kia to see how impractical the BEV is as a replacement for a normal ICE car?
