“Some rust pitting under paint especially at bottom corners (pictured) which should glass bead away to good surface easily. Metal channels then could use fresh coat of black paint. Glass is excellent condition almost looks like replacement but I don't think so. Otherwise great condition for driver but a little work for show application. And complete with excellent working handle assemblies.”

  This pair of MOPAR rear quarter windows came to us with other 1937 into 1939 Chrysler loose parts.  Believe this pair of rear quarter window assemblies to be 1937 to 1939 Chrysler, possibly coupe or other 2-door but just not sure.  Notice 5th thru 7th pictures show one of this pair compared and over top of 1936 Dodge 4-door sedan rear quarter windows.  These have slightly smaller profile and less height than the 1936 Dodge.  Notice also that the style of these handles is not the same as the Dodge handles, as these are more like any Chrysler rear quarter window handles we have seen.  These handles really appear to be original to these quarter glass assemblies.
  Glass in both of these are really excellent, possibly even replacements but still seem to be original.  Glass seal to the channels in nice for original condition.  Notice that there is some surface rust shown in the last pictures bubbling slightly under the bottom corner paint.  That rust should glass bead to good surface with a little work if they are needed to be painted like new again for show car application; otherwise might be just fine as-is for driver. Complete with both handle assemblies and stop washers (pictured) for bottom shafts.

General Motors' future green-car efforts will focus on plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles rather than conventional hybrid powertrains, product chief Mary Barra said Wednesday. Barra said GM has narrowed its future development emphasis in an effort to defend its leadership position attained with the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid. GM will unveil an electric Spark minicar in late November at the Los Angeles auto show.

2014 Mazda 6 diesel sales postponed for emissions testing
