Original vintage early Ford truck running board mounted spare tire carrier. Includes cast iron mount stand, wheel mount bracket for wide 5 wheel, tire upper hoop, and rear bed brace with bolt. Lower mount threads are fine, upper bolt is too, but you may as well replace it anyway. Awesome add-on accessory for your custom hot rod or streetrod.

Rare to find the whole mount together like this. This may fit other years, but this came off of a 1939 ford truck 1/2 ton. I believe 1935 1936 1937 1938 1939 fit the same for these.

 Cool for your hot rod or rat rod also.

The Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy, held the annual exhibition of its Master's course in Transportation Design this past June. Done in collaboration with Alfa Romeo, this year's final presentation was attended by Lorenzo Ramaciotti, Head of Styling for Fiat Group Automobiles and Maserati. The final thesis projects presented by the 15 students on the course answered a brief to design the next flagship sedan from Alfa Romeo.

2011 Bahrain Grand Prix Cancelled Bernie Ecclestone said the cancellation or not of this season’s F1 opener in Bahrain would be down to Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa who was in the best place to judge. But it was actually the Bahrain State’s Information Affairs Authority who made the announcement this afternoon that this year’s Bahrain Grand Prix – due to be staged at the Bahrain International Circuit on March 13th – would not go ahead. The announcement said that “Bahrain’s priority is on overcoming tragedy, healing divisions, and rediscovering the fabric that draws this country together.” Which seems a great deal more important than a bunch of rich guys driving round in circles for the world’s entertainment.

The all-new MINI – the third generation of the new MINI – is due later in 2013 and will be getting a more mainstream dashboard. Whatever you may think of the ‘new’ MINI – the one BMW make – it’s been a huge success. And it’s been a huge success because it’s managed to evoke the spirit of the original Issigonis Mini without being a pastiche.
