For sale is the fiberglass mold for the 1936 Chevy "Hitman "car. Professionally made and always stored indoors this mold is in excellent conditionI It has a small flaw in the roof about 8" long,but can be touched up with some clay before the job or skimmed with some body filler afterwards.Other than that the body produced is nice and straight and requires little or no bodywork before prime or paint. The picture is of the car I ran from '99 to '06 and it's now in Australia. Check out 'Hitman Racing"Tony and Gilian Argentino.

Car clocking fraud on rise again

There could be as many as 486,000 vehicles with a false mileage on the road in the UK, according to vehicle history experts, HPI. The act of “clocking” a vehicle has been around for a number of years and is something that was made easier with the arrival of digital odometers. In the past, the mis-aligned digits and exposed screw heads meant that a clocked car was relatively easy to spot.

ECC pulls out of ‘Spy-in-the-sky’ road charging trials

Essex County Council, in a show of uncommon common sense, has pulled out of trials for the new ‘Spy in the Sky’ road charging tax. Road pricing trials halted in Essex Secret trials of a new system to charge motorists by the mile were due to roll out in Essex, Leeds, North Yorkshire, Buckinghamshire, London, and Suffolk, trialing the technology that would enable the government to charge motorists based on where they drive and when they drive. But the whole trial has been put in doubt after ECC announced they were no longer prepared to take part.
