Wichita, Kansas, United States
1/2 ton GMC long bed. fenders currently moved forward on bedsides to fit 1/2 ton short wheelbase.
the tailgate and fenders are very hard to find, the tailgate with the circled GMC is not reproduced and the 37-38 fenders are only available in fiberglass. this is original steel.
all parts in 80 year old used condition. bed sides and rails mostly straight, small amount of rust through on right bed side. bumper has legs welded on outside of rear stake pockets, I will remove by cutting bumper, not the stake pocket. cross sills in good shape, fenders have cow kicks and old repairs but are solid. tailgate has bends in top rail but has original hinge hardware. original paint in some places, surface rust in most. you should be aware that these parts are usable as is but are not perfect. I will take pictures of anything you ask for. bumper taillights and running boards not included. no other parts included. this auction is for the bed sides, front bed panel, tailgate, hinges, cross sills, and pair of fenders. this will fit 37-46 chevrolet and gmc. it is currently mounted on a 1941 chevy 1/2 ton (not included) for local pickup. I have a truck bed trailer frame with a 1 7/8" ball tongue that I will put this on for an additional $100 and you can pull it home. contact me for details. ask questions! I am a helpful guy and will answer all questions to the best of my knowledge. |

Mini at the Salone del Mobile, Milan
Wed, 13 Apr 2011Mini is using this year's Salone del Mobile in Milan to showcase its 'flair for design.' As with previous years, Mini will be using sites at Milan's Università degli Studi and the Triennale Design Museum for its installations that highlight the brand's 'Creative Use of Space' philosophy. The running theme between the two works is the progression of the brand, from its roots, through to the future of mobility. The Università degli Studi instillation is entitled 'Mini Sintesi' and was initiated by Italian design magazine INTERNI under the watchful eye of Gilda Bojardi.
Renault Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet (2010) first pictures
Fri, 05 Feb 2010Renault has whisked the covers off the new 2010 Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet, the sixth bodystyle of the latest Mégane family. There are few surprises: it's a two-door with a foldling hard top, like its predecessor. The roof is mainly smoked glass and there's a new fixed glass wind deflector positioned behind the rear seats to minimise buffeting up to 50mph.
