ORIGINAL Holley Carburetor Master Data Book-Binder for Domestic Passenger Cars and Trucks. I believe this binder is from 1962 as the most recent pages are dated 1962 (some are dated 1963 that must have been added after the binder was issued) as there is a Holley serial number sticker for the book dated January 16, 1962. When new year applications and updates were made by Holley, they were sent out to the holders of the binder and pages were put into it. This Master Data Book is HUGE! It is 4" thick, over 11 lbs, aprox 1,500 +/- pages. The book contains LINE DRAWINGS, PHOTOS, AND EXPLODED VIEWS OF CARBURETORS AND CARBURETOR PARTS, PARTS LISTS, OEM AND HOLLEY PART NUMBERS, APPLICATION INFORMATION AND MORE!. In addition to the above information, carburetors listed in the book, it also gives some information on: Application Data, Carburetor Specifications, Engine Specifications, Exploded views of the carburetors with parts breakdown, parts listing and part numbers and more. Also throughout the binder in different sections, are listings for Holley  DISTRIBUTORS AND GOVERNORS WITH LINE DRAWINGS, EXPLODED VIEWS, PARTS LISTS, OEM AND HOLLEY PART NUMBERS. Model sections in this binder shows CARBURETOR AND DISTRIBUTOR MODELS, EXPLODED VIEWS OF MOST CARBURETOR AND OEM PART NUMBERS AND HOLLEY PART NUMBERS FOR ALL CARBURETORS AND CARBURETOR PARTS, PART NAMES, VEHICLE AND ENGINE APPLICATION, AND MORE! In the beginning of most of the Vehicle make section is a listing of ALL THE VEHICLE MODELS LISTING THE YEAR, MODEL, ENGINE SIZE, TRANSMISSION TYPE, NUMBER OF BARRELS, CARBURETOR MODEL, HOLLEY CARBURETOR MODEL NUMBER. Thumbing through different sections of the binder, I see years listed: 1937, 1938, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962 and 1963. The binder is broken into the following tabbed format sections: American Motors, Autocar, Diamond T, Dodge, Edsel, Ford (this is the biggest section), GMC, International, Lincoln, Mack, Mercury, Reo, Twin Coach, White and  Miscellaneous. This binder is CHOCK FULL with TONS OF VALUABLE INFORMATION WITH WAY TO MUCH TO LIST!  I acquired this and many more carburetor binders from a retiring Mechanic. Do you own a classic or antique auto repair shop, specializing in Holley carburetor rebuilding, or are you working on your own Classic? Then this Master Data Book-Binder is a must! This heavy duty hinged binder is in very nice condition for being over 54 years old-binder front and back is very nice-there is a tear at spine by back cover, other than a few finger prints inside pages are clean, tabs are all there-a couple are split. Sold as is. Payment is by PayPal. Buyer pays $9.95 Media Mail shipping and handling in the 50 United States. Additional shipping charge to Canada and International locations. The much-anticipated Audi R8 spyder likely will make its world debut in production guise at the Frankfurt motor show in September. The drop-top version of the head-turning German supercar would share mechanicals with the coupe, which offers a V8 making 420 hp and a V10 with 525 hp. The R8 has a mid-engine layout and channels power to the ground with all-wheel drive.

Toyota GT 86 Supercharged in development With the Toyota GT 86 now revealed, it seems Toyota are working on a more powerful supercharged version. The Toyota GT 86 is now properly out in the open, and it promises to offer lots of fun in a light and appealing package. Almost a modern version of the MX5, but hardly the Toyota equivalent of the Porsche Cayman Toyota would like us to think.

New Jaguar XJ – Driving in London

The new Jaguar XJ on the road And it’s a ‘grower’. There have been a few negative remarks on the site – although they are very much the minority – but this car does look better the more you see it. We think that many of those who dislike it at first will change their minds when they see it on the roads.
