GM-CDN Interactive Competition Update

The GM-CDN Interactive Competition is in full flow, and by the time you read this, over 50 entries will have been uploaded to the competition site. We encourage all of our readers to head over to the Car Design Contest page to see what's going on and participate. Infiniti opens London design studio

Shiro Nakamura, Alfonso Albaisa and Simon Cox have officially opened Infiniti Design London, as Nissan's premium brand becomes fully separated. "We have a clear vision to make Infiniti a key premium brand," said Nakamura, senior VP of design to the assembled press. "Design is a clear defining force." The new studio is adjacent to Nissan Design Europe's base in the Paddington area of London, on the second floor of the protected Battleship Building that also houses Virgin's HQ.

The Ferrari 599XX - a track Ferrari and a rolling test bed for technology [ad#ad-1] We first got to see the Ferrari 599XX at the Geneva Motor Show in March, when Ferrari brought one along to the show, but details were a little thin on the ground. In fact, there were more details on the handling pack for the 599 – the 599 HTGE Pack – than there were for the 599XX. But Ferrari has now remedied that, and supplied us with more information and some pictures.
