RE-BUILT   RUNNING ENGINE,    INLINE 8 CYL

This engine came out of a 1939 Buick.    It was completely rebuilt,  it was only in the car for 1 year when they took it out and I bought it. It probably has less than 500 miles on it.

It is on my engine stand now, so I can start it up and run it for you to see how nice it runs.

I am selling the engine with the trans.  the trans is the cable shift type so it should be a 1939,   the engine I am not positive if it is a 1939.    the block # is 1303969,  the head # is 1308130-1

Everything on the engine is included,   But not my engine stand, battery, gas tank, or the radiator.

What Americans want, according to Fiat design boss Ramaciotti

Mon, 06 Dec 2010

American cars are big; European cars are small. And it's always been that way. But that old distinction may be diminishing, says Fiat Group design boss Lorenzo Ramaciotti.

Frankfurt 2011: New Vauxhall Astra GTC (2012) debut

Thu, 15 Sep 2011

Vauxhall Astra GTC finally arrives at Frankfurt The Vauxhall Astra GTC (and its European equivalent Opel GTC) finally gets to go on public view at Frankfurt this week, a year after it arrived as a concept at Paris. Based on the more prosaic five-door Astra, the GTC carries over just about nothing except the door handles although it still conspires to look like a slightly squashed, butch version of its sibling. The Astra GTC is a decent looking effort from Vauxhall – as is the regular Astra – designed to take the fight to cars like the Scirroco.

Jaguar signs up Lana Del Rey to make the F-Type cool

Sat, 25 Aug 2012

Jaguar has revealed it has signed up singer songwriter Lana Del Rey to help promote the new F-Type sports car. Land Rover chose to use Mrs Beckham to promote the Range Rover Evoque, and went as far as allowing her input in a limited edition Evoque Beckham, a move that probably generated more column inches of PR for Land Rover than any amount of money could buy. So Jaguar are going a similar way with the F-Type, but instead of signing a Spice Girl they’ve had the sense to look at what is new and cool, and they’ve very sensibly decided the face of the F-Type is going to be singer songwriter Lana Del Rey.
