This auction is for the USED ORIGINAL 1941 FORD DELUXE ACCESSORY CENTER REAR BUMPER GUARD ASSEMBLY shown. THESE CENTER REAR GUARDS WERE SOLD BY THE FORD DEALER AS AN ACCESSORY AND FEW OF THESE ARE SEEN TODAY. THESE GUARDS WERE CUT OUT TO FIT THE CONTOUR OF THE DELUXE BUMPER AND HAVE A HEAVY STRAP TO ATTACH TO THE REAR BUMPER. THIS GUARD ALSO FITS ALL 1940 FORD PASSENGER CARS AS THEY USE THE SAME BUMPER AS THE 1941 FORD DELUXE. THIS GUARD IS IN VERY GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH NO DAMAGE AND MUCH OF THE ORIGINAL CHROME STILL QUITE NICE, HOWEVER THERE ARE SEVERAL AREAS WHERE THE ORIGINAL CHROME IS GONE AND SOME LIGHT RUST IS SHOWING. THIS GUARD COULD BE CLEANED UP AND USED ON AN ORIGINAL UNRESTORED CAR IF DESIRED. I HAVE SHOWN MANY VIEWS OF THIS PART TO GIVE YOU A GOOD IDEA OF THE OVERALL CONDITION. IT SHOULD BE REPLATED OR PERHAPS USED ON A CUSTOM CAR WITH A PAINTED FINISH. This Center Rear Guard is being offered at a very low price.
