Fisker's Project Nina teased ahead of the New York Auto Show The ‘Project Nina’ from Fisker – a smaller take on the Karma – will debut at the New York Motor Show in April. It’s taken a very long time for Henrik Fisker to get the Karma out to the public, and even then it looks like it still wasn’t really ready to go, with reports of faults and breakdowns already starting to filter in from the handful of Karma owners. But the next stage of Fisker’s evolution in to a fully fledged maker of range-extending EVs is ‘Project Nina’, a smaller car that the Fisker – thing 3 Series – which has been funded to a great degree by the US taxpayer.

Audi A3 e-Tron Hybrid Shanghai - yet another e-Tron Concept Where would we be at a major motor show without Audi and an e-Tron concept? So far we’ve had an Audi e-tron trundled out in everything from a super mini to a super car, and with a range of powertrains from a very sensible range-extender in the Audi A1 e-Tron to the frankly ludicrous claims of the first R8 e-Tron delivering 3,319lbs/ft of torque. What we get for Shanghai is the Audi A3 e-Tron.

Toyota FT-86G concept (2010) first pictures

This is Toyota’s FT-86G, the second concept in quick succession from the Japanese car manufacturer that previews a rear-wheel drive sports coupe coming in 2011. Unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the latest FT-86 show car has a sleeker and more aggressive look, after the more rounded and shapely lines of the concept revealed at the 2009 Tokyo motor show. The looks are the major departure, with the new lines giving the 'G' a much sharper set of metalwork.
